I am so pissed off at Striiv Right now. In case you don’t know the Striiv is a Smart Pedometer. Kind of like the Fitbit or a pedometer but it has a game and other motivation things built into it.
I loved my Striiv and told just about everyone about it that I can into contact with it was that cool when I bought it
But then it malfunctioned. It’s okay tho I thought because I have heard great things about their customer service department from other people. So I’ll just call and get this taken care of.
That’s when the problems started.
When I called the number I got a weird message that they had decided to stop their phone support and I could go on line and e-mail them and get a response. So I did and they were quick to reply and tell me that I would have to send it in for warranty replacement and gave me all the information that I needed.
I sent in, tracked it, and then waited the 5-8 business days that I was told it would receive it in after they got the broken one. I even waiting even tho I had never gotten the promised confirmation and tracking number. Then when on the 8th day the mail came and their was still no Striiv in the mail I wrote them back.
First I wrote back to the ticket.
Day 10 – 2 days later I started a new ticket, replied again to the old ticket and posted on facebook. I got a general reply to message then in private on facebook gave them the ticket number and was told they would look into it.
Day 12 – 4 days late. I asked again in private message if someone could update me. I figured I would try and be nice since I had actually gotten them to talk to me once.
Still No reply.
Day 14 – Today – Now I’m fed up. It’s like they are stealing from me. I paid them $100 dollars for this thing and now they have it and I have nothing. I messaged them on their facebook page, in the private message to both of the tickets that are open, opened a new ticket, called their offices and left a message, and finally called a lawyer to see what I could do next.
Turns out from reading the facebook page that you either fall into one of 2 categories. You A send it in and they are wonderful and respond and you get a replacement right away. Or B they stop talking to you and you don’t ever get anything back from them ever. I figure if there are that many people out there with this problem then I think I am going to pursue talking to the lawyer. I can count at least 10 people on the boards who are doing the same thing that I am right now and getting no results.
